PRESENTATION: 30 extended-release capsules
DOSAGE: 30 mg per Tabs
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
‣ Phentermine hydrochloride 30 mg (extended release)
‣ Central nervous system stimulant, amphetamine-like
THERAPEUTIC CLASS:
‣ Anorectic – Appetite suppressant
‣ Sympathomimetic agent
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
‣ Stimulates norepinephrine release in the hypothalamus
‣ Suppresses appetite
‣ Increases energy expenditure
DOSAGE:
‣ One capsule in the morning before breakfast
‣ Avoid taking in the afternoon to prevent insomnia
‣ Recommended duration: up to 12 weeks
⚠️ WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS:
‣ May cause insomnia, dry mouth, anxiety, palpitations
‣ Not recommended for patients with cardiovascular conditions
‣ Do not combine with other appetite suppressants or antidepressants
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
‣ Pregnancy and breastfeeding
‣ Hyperthyroidism, glaucoma, uncontrolled hypertension
‣ History of substance abuse
