🎯 Indications:
Nalbuphine is a mixed opioid analgesic used for moderate to severe pain, especially in:

🩹 Postoperative pain
🤕 Traumatic injuries
🏥 Painful diagnostic or surgical procedures
👶 Labor-related pain in obstetrics

⚙️ Mechanism of Action:
🔒 Agonist at kappa receptors
🚫 Partial antagonist at mu receptors
➡️ Delivers strong analgesia with a lower risk of respiratory depression than other opioids

💊 Typical Adult Dosage:

• 10 mg (5 mL) every 3 to 6 hours as needed

• Maximum: 160 mg/day

👶 In labor:

• 10 mg IV or IM every 3 hours

😴 Drowsiness
🤢 Nausea
🌀 Dizziness
📉 Low blood pressure
😤 Respiratory depression (less than morphine)

🚫 Contraindications:
⛔ Hypersensitivity to Nalbuphine
⛔ Use with other CNS depressants without supervision
⛔ Not for chronic long-term use
